Earnings & withdrawals

How your profit is worked out and how to withdraw it.

5 min read Step 12 of 15 Updated September 2026

You earn the difference between what your client pays and what the publisher costs, less payment fees and Era Rank's service charge. Your earnings are added when an invoice is paid, and you can withdraw them at any time.

1 How your profit is worked out

For each paid invoice:

  1. Start with what the client paid.
  2. Take off the card or PayPal fee.
  3. Take off the publisher prices of the orders.
  4. Take off Era Rank's service charge: a percentage of what is left, set for your account.

What remains is your profit.

Example

StepAmount
Client pays$100.00
Card fee (for example 4.9% + $0.49)− $5.39
Publisher prices− $70.00
Left$24.61
Service charge 10%− $2.46
Your profit$22.15

3 Save your payout details

Click Manage Withdrawal Details (or your name → Withdrawal Details).

Withdrawal Details page

Choose PayPal or Bank Transfer.

Bank transfers need a one-time identity check first: the button on Staff Payments reads Verify Profile to Withdraw until it is approved. Once verified, the account holder name must match the name on your document. The check works exactly as for publishers: see Payout details & ID verification.

4 Request a withdrawal

  1. Click Request Withdraw.
  2. Enter an amount from $1 up to your remaining balance.
  3. Check your payout details in the window, tick I confirm that my payout details are correct, and click Request Withdraw.
Request Withdrawal window

The button only works once you confirm your payout details.

The request appears in Withdrawal History as Pending. You get an email when it is approved (“Withdrawal approved - $… on its way”) or declined, with the reason in the Remark column. A declined amount returns to your balance.

Only paid invoices count. Orders your clients haven't paid for don't add to your balance yet.
